I'm Jens. I like building backend systems, scaling infrastructure, developing IoT projects, and sharing them in a fun and educational way.

My skills

Backend development

I'm able to create fully functional web apps/APIs using backend frameworks, databases, task queues, object storage, websockets etc.
Frontend web development

I'm able to create the frontend websites according to about any specification using frontend frameworks like VueJS using TypeScript or JavaScript. I'm able to implement stores, routers, bundlers etc.
Infrastructure setup

I'm able to install and set up databases (including backups/PITR), management panels, networks, docker swarms etc.
Minecraft development

I mostly do this for fun. I'm able to create almost any Minecraft plugin when I research the topic. I mostly work on advanced, interesting, and somewhat useless hobby projects.
DevOps

I'm able to set up CI/CD configurations and scripts with docker (compose/swarm) and nginx. I like to Docker Compose for development too.
Testing

I'm able to create unit tests with complicated mocks for testing. I develop some features using test-driven development.
